Mistakes I made with hiking maps
2026-05-11
Here are a few notes on hiking maps. I borrowed most of the equipment at first. I wrote down what worked and what did not. Keeping a simple log helped more than I expected. The first attempts were clumsy, and that was fine. The weather decided most of the schedule. That is all for now.
I keep coming back to houseplants. The notes below are mostly for my future self. Most of the work is preparation; the visible part is quick. Cheap materials are fine for practice. Small, repeatable steps turned out to matter more than any single trick. Next time I want to try a different approach.
